I made this money clip a few weeks back as a commission for a friend. She wanted a floral tooling with a nutty brown finish. Throughout the tooling I decided to document the process, as the most asked question I get when I say I tool leather is, "How do you do it?" This is how!
I don't have much to blog about as of lately, but I'm going to try and keep this blog active, even if it's just a picture of a horse or a piece of tack with a caption. Who all's going to Breyerfest this year? I'm not sure if I'm going or not yet, but if I do I'm going to try and enter the diorama contest, along with the costume contest. I've wanted to enter the past few years, but either didn't have enough time or didn't have a good idea. That's about all that's been going on, I do have a post in the works about repairing models. With luck that will be finished by the end of the week. It might consist of a few different posts, going over different repairs. Keep an eye out for those! |
AuthorI've been in the model horse hobby actively for about four years. My main interests are customizing, tackmaking, and showing, although I do like to venture into the different aspects of the hobby also. Aside from model horses I ride real horses, and also dabble in leather crafting. Hope you enjoy my blog! Archives
