First off, I am so sorry for taking so long to post, I haven't been doing much worth posting about! Also, I'm going to try to update once a week, hopefully more often though! I'll try to get a tutorial up soon, I have one in the works for how I do stablemate ears. Here's more Breyerfest photos! That's all I have of the Open Show, I would've liked to get more photos, oh well. Here's some reference pictures I got at the museums and whatnot. I highly recommend going to the museums, they were amazing! Enjoy! I'll upload more references soon.

I've been a bad blogger, sorry y'all! I got completely sidetracked. I'll try to be better, and resume the ABC articles at some point.
Anyways, here's some Breyerfest photos as promised! I didn't get near as many photos of the Open show as I would've liked, but oh well. I do have a few more pictures of the Open Show, but I don't have them saved to my computer. Once I get a hold of them I'll post them. First off, I apologize for not posting any Breyerfest pictures yet, I've been in North Carolina on vacation. The cabin we stayed at had no cell service, so all the phone was good for was a paperweight. Same goes for wifi, so the computer was just this thing that got dragged back and forth to the cabin and the truck. I'll get some photos up soon, possibly late tonight at the hotel. No later than Friday, I promise. Anyways, we're in Georgia at the moment, on our way back to Texas. We've travelled through about eight states now on this trip alone. Here's a teaser of some of the 250+ photos I took at the Horse Park, Breyerfest or otherwise. It's a Mini Whinny scale set up of a jousting tournament that was in the International Museum of the Horse. Here's some pictures of Kentucky! We haven't reached the amazing horse farms yet, if its still light when we pass by I'll get a picture. Here's a picture of some of Kentucky's hills. I knew Kentycky had hills from last year, but I didn't realize they had hills like this! Goodbye Tennessee, Hello Kentucky! We should be arriving around 6:00, I can't wait! We made it into Alabama! There's almost no humidity that I noticed when we stopped. That's a major change from Texas, which is humidity, humidity, and more humidity. One thing that is a novelty for me is hills. Apparently Alamabama has hills. After stopping in Meridian, Mississippi last night, we're making the last leg of the trip up to Kentucky! 561 miles and lots if country music and lots if snacks, I'm good to go! It's about a nine hour drive, we're hoping to roll in in time for room sales. On the road again! We left for Breyerfest! We will be in Missisippi tonight, then head up to Lexington and room sales Thursday. Here's a photo I took from the outskirts of Houston: I've been working like crazy trying to prepare for Breyerfest, from my show string to tack. Oh well, hopefully be more organized for 2014(ha).
The saddle hasn't seen much progress, but I started on a bridle. The bridle is a slit braid bridle, and still in the beginning stages. |
AuthorI've been in the model horse hobby actively for about four years. My main interests are customizing, tackmaking, and showing, although I do like to venture into the different aspects of the hobby also. Aside from model horses I ride real horses, and also dabble in leather crafting. Hope you enjoy my blog! Archives
